Our laboratory studies the G protein-coupled receptor C-C Chemokine Receptor 7 (CCR7).
This receptor plays critical roles in regulating trafficking of many cells into and out of the lymphoid organs and/or the brain.
We are also interested in the signaling events that are controlled by CCR7 that promote migration of cells in the body, during homeostasis, an immune response and during disease states.
In addition, our laboratory is working to identify signaling events in T-cells that can serve as targets to regulate growth or chemotaxis of these cells during an immune response.
